The fluffy leaves of this Darjeeling from the first harvest offer an amber golden colour and a very fresh character. With every sip, we feel its balanced floral character. The refreshing tanginess is balanced by a full-bodied honey-sweet flavour that finishes with a persistent aftertaste.
Upper Fagu Tea Garden is located 20 km from Malbazar, near Gorumara National Park in Kalimpong, in the northern part of Darjeeling district. The exact date of its establishment is not known, but it was probably in the late 18th century. The garden has about 100 hectares of cultivable land, which produces orthodox Darjeeling black and green teas. The vast majority of the tea trees are of the China cultivar.
